Choice Point was used in Mexico apparently much like it was used in Florida. WE paid for that with OUR tax dollars!
Negative drop offs, supposedly blank and discarded ballots overwhelmingly from poor areas of course. The most essential coponent for undermining a democracy, now-a-days is NOT having a VERIFIABLE election, machines with no paper trail,= no accountability.

I made the target of this petition the US Election Assistance Commission, which does conduct studies concerning technology, but I also will share the petition with the media and congress members.

Feeney's bill the HR 3910 should be rejected because it allows states to decide that a paper trail does NOT have to be used in a meaningful way-It renders the idea meaningless and just a waste of money and paper, which also means voting would be somewhat less meaningful as well.

That the exit polls were wrong;

That Zogby's 5pm election day calls for Kerry winning Ohio and Florida were wrong (he was exactly right in his 2000 final poll);

That Harris' last-minute polling for Kerry was wrong (he was exactly right in his 2000 final poll);

That incumbent rule #1 - undecideds break for the challenger - was wrong;

That the 50% rule - an incumbent doesn't do better than his final polling - was wrong;

That the approval rating rule - an incumbent with less than 50% approval will most likely lose the election - was wrong;

That it was just a coincidence that the exit polls were correct where there was a paper trail and incorrect (+5% for Bush) where there was no paper trail;

That the surge in new young voters had no positive effect for Kerry;

Last night, our friend Andy Stephenson passed away after a short but valiant fight against cancer. He was a great supporter of VR's as well as one of the original advisors for our "Divestiture for Democracy" campaign. He was a tireless fighter for Election Reform in this country, and his loss is a tremendous blow to that cause. We will, however, fight on as Andy would have wanted us to.

In January he traveled to WDC to mourn and demonstrate against the stolen election, but was still working non-stop for a fair voting sustem. There was no independent vetting of these voting machines, he explained, so there was no way to tell if the hardware and software within was counting things properly. There were no paper ballots involved, so recounts were a thing of the past. Votes tallied on these machines would be transferred via unsecured modem to central processing computers - which were basically PCs with Windows software - that had no security and could be easily tampered with.
